BRIDGING THEORY AND PRACTICE: STUDENTS VISIT DONE LAB
DONE Lab recently welcomed students from the University of Minho's mechanical, polymer, and biomedical engineering courses. These visits gave students a firsthand look at the lab’s advanced equipment and innovative additive and subtractive manufacturing technologies. They also gained valuable insights into how research and development (R&D) translates into products and tools applied to the automotive, plastics, healthcare, and aerospace fields.
By opening our doors to students, we provide a bridge between academic theory and real-world applications. These visits, along with opportunities for projects and scholarships, help students explore career paths and actively contribute to ongoing research, fostering a collaborative environment that connects learning with research and industry.
With their creative minds, they can play harder with the infinite possibilities that additive manufacturing offers!
